Letter of Consent (LOC) 

The Letter of Consent is applicable for eligible LTVP/LTVP+ (Long Term Visit Pass) and Dependent Pass Holders who wish to work in Singapore. An employer or appointed employment agent needs to apply on behalf of the candidate. The applicant may only start working once their LOC is approved.  

Employment Pass Application 

An EP (Employment Pass) is only given to qualified foreign professionals who hold a job offer in Singapore with a fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,600. An employer or appointed employment agency needs apply on behalf of the candidate. The pass holds validity for 2 years upon the first time of approval and 3 years upon renewals.  

Work Permit (WP) Application  

Work Permits are applicable to foreign workers from approved source countries working in the construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process or services sector. An employer or appointed employment agency needs to apply on behalf of the candidate. The pass holds validity for up to 2 years depending on the validity of the worker’s passport, security bond and employment period. 

Permanent Residence (PR) Application  

PR application is assessed using a points system. Points are allocated based on factors such as the type of work pass, duration of stay in Singapore, academic qualification, basic monthly salary, age etc. PR holders benefit from a lot of privileges such as access to public housing, quality education and subsidized healthcare rates.  

Dependent Pass (DP) Application 

The Dependent Pass is meant for legally married spouse or unmarried children under 21 years old. An employer or appointed employment agent must apply to behalf of the candidate. The DP holds validity for up to 2 years, tied to the validity of the main work pass. 

S Pass Application 

The S Pass is applicable to mid skilled technical staff who have the relevant educational qualifications with relevant work experience and earning a minimum of S$2,200 monthly. An employer or appointed agency must apply on behalf of the candidate. If the pass holder changes jobs, the new employer has to apply for a new S Pass.
