Corporate Tax Filing
All companies in Singapore are required to file their corporate tax returns to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) every year on the 30th of November.
Personal Income Tax
Every individual is required to file their annual income taxes by the 15th of April of every year to the IRAS. Singaporeans employed overseas for more than 6 months in any calendar year are exempt from paying tax to the authorities in Singapore.
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Singapore has a Value Added Tax (VAT) of 7%. GST Is exempted for the sale of lease of residential properties and most financial services. Export of goods and international services are not subject to GST. For the import of goods, GST is collected by Singapore Customs at the point of importation into Singapore.
